Build San Antonio Green – San Antonio’s residential Green Building Program

Build San Antonio Green is San Antonio’s Residential Green Building Program.  We work with builders, architects, designers and developers to certify projects as “built green” in San Antonio and the surrounding area.

The deadline to receive nominations for the City of San Antonio’s Fourth Annual Green Building Awards has been extended to Friday, May 25, 2012.  Nomination forms are available at http://www.sanantonio.gov/oep.

The awards celebrate builders who have made significant strides in improving the performance of their buildings and specific construction projects.  Awards will be offered in several categories within the divisions of commercial and residential construction. There will also be a special award given to a nominee who has made significant contributions in solar energy. This year’s awards will feature two new categories highlighting multifamily developments and retrofits in historic homes.

Winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, 200 E. Market. St.
