The Renewable Republic is teaming up with the Sustainable Living Roadshow to showcase an afternoon Sustainability Festival – please come out to learn, share and explore sustainability!
The event will take place at the The Mattress Factory (1903 S. Saint Marys), and will be filled with workshops, live music from local bands, key-note speakers, art projects, puppet shows, the Conscious Carnival, a Solutionary Showcase, Compass Green mobile educational green house, Eco Info booth and much more.

Texas Public Radio is hosting a free workshop on the CPS Energy Savers program on Thursday, November 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the AIA Center for Architecture at Pearl, located at 200 E. Grayson Street, Suite 110.
CPS Energy Savers is a collaboration between CPS Energy, the City of San Antonio Better Buildings Program, Alamo Colleges and the Better Business Bureau. The program is designed to help homeowners reduce their energy costs by providing a seamless process to identify opportunities to increase efficiency, connect with qualified contractors and take advantage of the range rebates and cash incentives available to energy-conscious customers.
The workshop will explain the main components of the CPS Energy Savers program, which includes home assessments and audits, rebates and tax credits, financing options and customer support services provided by CPS Energy. Facilitators will guide attendees through the typical process from CPS Energy Savers program participants, from evaluation to installation to financing. The session will also detail the range of benefits to home retrofits and upgrades, including reductions in energy consumption, utility bills, and greenhouse gas emissions.

Join Build San Antonio Green at the City of San Antonio’s Annual Earth Day Celebration at Woodlawn Lake!
In the heart of the Deco District, the City’s Earth Day Celebration is a celebration of environmentally friendly living, sustainability, organic food, and is also the only Earth Day celebration that is an official Fiesta event!
The celebration is 9AM – 4PM on Saturday, April 9. Great food, entertainment, and prizes all day long. Don’t miss it!
