CERTIFICATION
How Homes are Certified
Homes
are certified green under the BSAG program through a quality review process.
Builders entering the BSAG program receive ongoing training in green building
techniques, and are required to attend Continuing Education Classes
(CEC). MPE’s BSAG program consists of a detailed green
building checklist. Member builders submit building plans and the BSAG
checklist to the MPE office, where it is reviewed for certification by
MPE Staff. Each green home built under approved specifications will
earn a certificate showing the scoring of the home, and be provided with
a Homeowners Manual containing operational information about the home.
